So many times we focus on the bad going on in our life, or the world, but there’s still a lot of good to be grateful for!
It’s all about perspective.
We could grumble about our boss, our broke down car, our aching knees, our house repairs stacking up, or hating to go grocery shopping.
Or….We could turn it around!
I have a job, many don’t, and desperately need one to take care of their family.
I have a car, there are people all around us that have to walk, or sit waiting long periods of time for the bus, and in all kinds of bad weather.
I have my health, yes sometimes it doesn’t feel that way, but believe me – it could get a whole lot worse!
I have a house, and a bed to sleep in, while others don’t know when they’ll get to lay their head down, and sleep in a warm, safe place again.
I have enough money to buy groceries for my family, while many go hungry, and don’t know where their next meal will come from.
The next time you feel like complaining, take a look around you – I bet you’re sitting on your comfy couch, or favorite chair, with a drink and snack next to you, while you’re reading this on your phone, or computer.
Look for the good, the good in your life, and the good in other people.
Before you’re too quick to judge that grumpy customer at your counter, or the guy in the car flipping you the bird – give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they’ve hit a rough spot, and they’re just taking it out on you.
Smile through it, and look for the Good!
Thanks for stopping by!
